Born in the seaside city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Satu first made her mark as an entertainment journalist and red carpet host for Fangoria TV, Metromix, Comcast, and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  She holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (Communication Studies/minor in French) and is also a drama graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, New York.
While still in college, Satu interned and then got a job as a production assistant at Fuse Networks and Vh1 before branching out and starting her own production company and photography service. Satu was lucky enough to manage Alex Grey's MicroCoSM gallery in Chelsea just before getting the opportunity to head up new business development at Icon Digital Photography for cosmetic marketing (Estee Lauder, Guitar World).
After a fun and creative career working in advertising, gallery marketing, and television production, Satu now creates original content for new media, film, & television. In 2014 she developed and ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for the original dark comedy TV pilot, Queen Gorya, which she also executive produced and directed.
